Big Ted Friday Night Flavas Choice FM 1994 Studio Guests Tha Alkaholiks [REMASTERED]
Here’s a UK show courtesy of HHC photographer Paul Hampartsoumian which features a few unreleased joints:
A Big Ted excursion blend of Biggie’s “Unbelievable” and Craig Mack’s “Flava in Ya Ear” kicks things off, before another unreleased cut from members of the Lords of Rap, operating here under the Oaktree moniker. There’s a Ras Kass joint, a Masta Ace track that only ever made it onto a J-Love mixtape, and another unreleased track from some bloke called Jay-Z.
The Alkaholiks were in London for a show at Bagleys in November that year, and I’m 99 percent sure this was recorded during that trip. The crew “with beats that thump” finally make their studio appearance around the 48-minute mark. Big shouts to Lee Lawrence for the ticket stub and Christian Luda for the Lo Down info.
